About The Lord of The Rings Battle For Middle Earth Chess Game
The Noble Collection Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth Chess Set is a detailed, officially licensed game that pits the Fellowship against the forces of Sauron. This set is the more affordable, durable alternative to Noble's high end pewter collectors' version, featuring detailed plastic miniatures and a fold out graphic board. Includes 32 highly detailed plastic pieces modeled after movie characters, including Gandalf, Galadriel, Aragorn, and Frodo vs. Sauron, Saruman, and the Nazgul. The 18.5' square folding board is made of high quality cardstock featuring stone texture graphics, Ring inscriptions, and the Lord of the Rings logo. The set comes with two branded drawstring dust bags (one for the heroes and one for the villains) to keep the pieces protected when not in use. While the high end version uses pewter, this set uses premium grade ABS plastic for the pieces, making them more suitable for regular gameplay and younger fans.
